A short compilation in verse
I.
to the blue lady
in savage clothing
who never
abandoned
a fight,
to the smooth
skin, the bare-back
fortune
to the grunge lady
the lattice lady
arch-angel in a
suburban cemetery
lady, lady
quick, their
minds
are
dying
on the vine
lady, lady,
run with me
and forget the
dark stroke of
childhood
hope
together
we were born to
taste
the
razor’s
edge
II.
tomorrow
my heart matures
like a bashful flower
III.
my art is the essence
of my own discord
an aberration of perception
the images i need
to make reality
whole
A Note…
A few months ago, I mentioned that I wanted to experiment with a kind of freestyle writing I called jam sessions, resulting in poetry born from music. Poem I is the first of this type, inspired by Led Zeppelin’s “Ten Years Gone.”
awesome!
