: all about the god flesh
a dark piece of
matter and the
impression of a
soft
liberation
beyond the apparitions of
shattered ceilings and
paper planes
(the cool wealth is rearranged)
chiseled apparatus of
our childhood
dreams, the vogue of
impossible
endings
it’s a secret authentic as
bone marrow
for the TV gods
and the YouTube stars
yesterday’s restless minds
one fake, one small
the sweet flick of a
cherry and a mouthful of
desires that pop like
daisies
sacred percussion that
flows like silver through
our bloodstreams
the groove: tempest blue
a nocturnal bridge between
moments of enlightenment
mayhem
cannibal spirit
undisturbed hands
the last bloodless figures in a
pop culture romance

The way you write poetry reminds me of Ezra Pound’s Cantos a bit. It’s fun to let go control and let the word generator do its thing. The best poetry is done unintentionally, imo. It makes great modern art. Btw I just found my copy of Cummings in my boxes of stuff. Big thousand page tome. Cheers to the new year!

Thank you very much! I agree it is great fun to let go and allow the words to come together on their own. That’s when writing feels a lot like playing. Enjoy the Cummings volume. He always makes me yearn to do something wildly experimental, almost transcendent. Cheers to you and Happy New Year! 🥂

Another direction indeed! 🙂 I like it very much. The image is also quite the perfect blend for the words within. Wrapping up some loose ends here, and then onto some more of my raveled roads. Back soon. T

Thank you! There is something brewing in my imagination and, I think, maybe has been for awhile…I have just begun my first steampunk novel and find myself completely sucked in. K. W. Jeter is the author. Terrific writing and fantastically entertaining. Will let you know where it all leads. Talk soon. And thanks for stopping by. 🙂 L
