Lady Unknown

sit & script
first mystery:
	lady unknown

there was a time in our
uncertain future when
everything was cared for

world from infinite
	mellow
	mother
moons & metaphors

bolder than myths of knowledge
dank swarming streets
	test tubes &
	radical disbelief

a child cries
a lizard makes holes at the sun
eats the night with
	teeth of leaves

soul is organic
alternate rhythms of
sex & sacrifice

    • Thank you so much! I wrote the second stanza while meditating a few nights ago and decided to build a larger poem around it. I am delighted to hear you enjoyed it.
