a fig tree in continuous sunlight
the landscape folds on its limbs
as if to say, every body
is its own reason for being
a sparrow calls its name, looks upon
what isn’t there
everything thrives; nothing moves
but the living

What a beautiful snapshot of life, of nature, of dreaming. ✨ Is that your drawing? It is fantastic!

Alas, I cannot take credit for the drawing. I found it on Depositphotos probably a year (or more) ago. The artist is very talented. I am happy you enjoyed the poem! Sometimes the simplest scenes are the most profound. 😊
