The Sweetest Thing & Other Art

The Sweetest Thing, paper collage, 2022

Here is some new artwork. I’ve got a fresh batch of vintage postcards that I’ve been working with, as well. Two of them are included here (Take Me Away and Catch).

I also wanted to share some art-related updates and photographs. First, I’m very excited to say that I have both prints and originals for sale at The Brass Grasshopper in Matthews, NC. They specialize in vintage, local, and antique goods of all kinds (that’s where I’ve been picking up all the fun vintage postcards I’ve been working with lately.), and the new owner, Katie, has done a beautiful job of displaying my work.

I also love that a large (24 x 24 in.) Strange Brew has found a home at their self-serve coffee stand.

Additionally, I have four prints hanging at The Loyalist Market in downtown Matthews and four originals (photographs coming soon) on display at Frame Warehouse at the Arboretum in Charlotte.

And my new cards, which I love.

Prints for all of the artwork in this post are available in my Etsy shop.

  1. Congratulations! Your artwork is amazing and you deserve recognition. I must say that Living Room is such a fantastic meditation on solitude and retreating into oneself. It’s abstract but so very meaningful. I enjoyed the other artwork too. Catch also caught my eye.

  2. Beautiful work! “Living Room” speaks to my soul. Being cozy in my favorite chair in our living room is my favorite place to be in the whole world.
I am so happy we crossed paths. Your art adds the perfect touch of whimsical-fantasy to our shop at The Brass Grasshopper. Thank you!

    • Thank you so much, Katie! I’m glad we crossed paths, too, and I think The Brass Grasshopper is the perfect place for my work. 😊 I’m happy you like Living Room. It was sort of a zen piece for me, as well.
