The Truth Is Silent, But Beautiful & Other Art

The Truth Is Silent, But Beautiful, paper collage, 2022

I had hoped to write a short, cohesive essay along with this post, but I’m afraid my thoughts aren’t quite organized enough for that yet. The topic: self-transcendence. What it means to perceive the everyday in the context of eternity. This is in response to Maslow’s essay, “Theory Z,” which I read this morning and which I am still contemplating.

Anyway, as you’ll see from all of the artwork below, I’ve been quite busy creating over the past few days. I made all of these collages within a two-day span (Monday and Tuesday) and decided to post them all together as there is, perhaps, some continuity among these pieces (or perhaps not).

Please enjoy.
