The Boat, collage on vintage postcard, 2022
today, there are boats in the window today, a bird today, my body is a lost pair of slippers today, like a sliver of pineapple tomorrow, an innuendo of blank spaces tomorrow, like a ballet of hands tomorrow, on a street identical to this one i will look in your eyes and see two hungry pomegranates tomorrow is a feast for screwdrivers a time zone ravenous for order and indifference

Your poetry always seems to seek a metaphysical sense, a longing for transcendence, for the mystery that extends beyond our dreams….

That’s a very nice way of saying it. Thank you, and I think you’re right.

Bravo! Love your poems.
A lost pair of slippers is quite descriptive and the last two lines are magnificent!

“a time zone ravenous for order and indifference”..I like this line. And the collage’ seems to be calling out to me…I love that. When art and words call out to you…perfect.
