You Can’t Ignore What You Can’t See & Other Art

You Can’t Ignore What You Can’t See, paper collage, 2023

Here are my latest experiments in collage art. I made all of these within the past two days, and I had great fun with them. I hope the “fun” translates and you enjoy them, as well.

I’ve included music, as usual. I love pairing my collages with music, as I’m certain you’ve noticed. In fact, I am thinking of doing an art and music post in the future, with one song per collage. (That’s how I typically share my collages on Instagram.) Really, I just enjoy creating a mood, or vibe, around the artwork that, I hope, brings it to life.

Interesting fact: vintage car collages almost always remind me of Eddie Money songs. I’m not sure why. Although, the fact that I listen to 70s and 80s rock while I work probably has something to do with it. Anyway, with that in mind, my music selection for this post is based on the first collage below, Take Me for a Walk.

    • Awesome! 🤗 Many thanks, my friend. Music always seems to transform visual art into a more totalizing experience for me…and a little dancing on a Sunday morning isn’t a bad thing, either 😊
