Stay Cosmic, paper collage, 2025

I recently purchased some new collage materials (courtesy of The Brass Grasshopper), including an interior design book from the 1970s, as well as a bunch of 70s Life magazines…and I’ve been having so much fun with them. That said, you’ll find several interiors, or inside-outside collages in this collection, as well as lots of cute couples smoking and/or posing with cars.

I love vintage cigarette ads (Life magazines are full of them), and those from the 60s and 70s have such a sweet, romantic vibe that I can’t resist using them. Life is great for vintage car ads, too, which are often equally as charming and fun to work with. I hope you enjoy these experiments in collage art.
