This Isn’t Goodbye, paper collage, 2026

Here are some new experiments in collge art. First, I’ve included a song to pair with the title composition, This Isn’t Goodbye. I was listening to 80s rock playlists while I was collaging yesterday and today. The song, “These Dreams,” by Heart came on while I was making This Isn’t Goodbye, and I think they go perfectly together…and I just love the song.

Also, all of the new Sunday Drive compositions below were built on my scanner. I got a fresh shipment of 1950s National Geographic magazines in the mail today, and the bottom piece (the family in the car) was included in one of them. I love that piece so much–and I find it in magazines so infrequently–that I am not ready to let go of it yet. That’s why none of those got the glue.

I began the Sunday Drive series in 2022 and felt it might be weird to start this post with number 4; so, I included the first three in the small gallery below. You can click to englarge them. I hope you enjoy this collection.
