Cosmic Swim, paper collage, 2025
I don’t like naming my collages. That’s one of the reasons I typically choose simple descriptive titles. I don’t like analyzing my work, and I don’t like forcing it to mean something. I like to create fun (and sometimes funny) fantasy worlds that I would like to inhabit–or that I already do inhabit in some little corner of my mind. Naming, for me, almost feels like it spoils the fun.
That said, if you’ve been following my art for awhile, you likely know that I love a good retro spacey beach scene, especially in the summertime. Because I dislike naming my collages, most of them are titled “Cosmic Summer,” or some variation thereof. I didn’t actually realize how many cosmic summers I had until just a few days ago–it’s a lot–so, I thought I’d share them all in one collection.
Here are a bunch of cosmic summer collages, old and new (music included). I hope you enjoy them. Also, I am planning on creating a 2026 calendar utilizing my artwork. I definitely see one or two of these beach scenes in there.

In addition, I’ve just added some new art prints to my Etsy shop.

And thank you all for your recent feedback on Sea View. I ended up choosing the seamless version for prints.
