Lost in Time & Other Art

Lost in Time, paper collage, 2025

Here are some recent experiments in collage art.

Also, I mentioned in a previous post that I was thinking of narrowing the focus of The Used Life… I’ve changed my mind. I actually did make some changes to my logo and About page several days ago that transformed this site into a creative living blog, but I wasn’t happy with the finished product. I felt it had no soul. Besides, I don’t think it’s possible for me to only do one or two things. I don’t think I’m wired that way.

That said, you will continue to see the same variety of content here as always. Thanks for sticking with me, and I hope you enjoy these collages.

  1. I really like “Journey” as well as “Deeper Horizons” 🙂 and I love your willingness and openness to changing your mind…I think it is so freeing when we allow ourselves to make choices and move forward, while also embracing the possibility that the vision may change …feeling at peace with the pursuit of the path that allows creativity and hope and belief…in yourself and in the world.

    1. Thank you so much, my friend! I agree it’s important to stay open and adaptable. The funny thing is, as soon as I decided not to change the concept of The Used Life, I got the new idea, or direction, I was looking for (you’ll see it when you read my most recent posts, called The Four Principles). Sometimes all we have to do is let go and let our own evolution happen, and we find our way where we need to be. 🙂

  2. “The Last Frontier” and “Journey” really captured my attention. It’s surrealism meeting a Western. Space reaching down to meet cowboys in a place where dreams and reality meet. Beautiful stuff.
