I usually like to share multiple collages in one post. The reason for that is simple: I make them all at once. My creativity tends to be all-or-nothing. Either I can make a dozen (or more) collages in one or two days, or I can’t make anything at all.

Terrarium Town, however, is a little different. The terrarium background comes from a vintage book of plants that I picked up early last week. My initial thought was to make something like a village with it, but I had to find the right pieces in order to make that happen. And, of course, I also had to work within the constraints of my materials, which meant deviating substantially from my original vision in order let my materials guide me.

This one took many hours of work. I hope it takes you to a fun, whimsical place in your imagination.
