I mentioned in my last photography post that there was a family of Red Foxes in the neighborhood with six kits. I’m pretty sure the kits are on their own now, and one of them paid a visit to the backyard this afternoon. I found it resting on top of a small woodpile just beyond the back fence, where it groomed itself for awhile and eventually went to sleep.

I was really excited to get an audience with one of the foxes. I hope you enjoy these photographs.
