Red Fox

I mentioned in my last photography post that there was a family of Red Foxes in the neighborhood with six kits. I’m pretty sure the kits are on their own now (at least some of the time), and one of them paid a visit to the backyard this afternoon. I found it resting on top of a small woodpile just beyond the back fence, where it groomed itself for awhile and eventually went to sleep.

I was really excited to get an audience with one of the foxes. I hope you enjoy these photographs.
